Baptism
Baptism is a sacred Christian ritual signifying obedience to Jesus Christ and public declaration of faith. Rooted in the Great Commission from Matthew 28:19, where Jesus commands His disciples: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," this ceremony symbolizes spiritual cleansing, rebirth, and unity with Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of inward faith, affirming one's commitment to follow Jesus and participate in the life of the Christian community. It is both a personal act of devotion and a public testimony of God's saving grace.
